Global Agriculture Policy Institute (G.A.P.I.), private non-profit institution, was established in March 28, 2002 with the following basic objective to conduct global agriculture issue-oriented research in order to suggest alternative strategies for Korean agriculture development.

The GAPI's research activities are mostly carried out by non-full time engaged members of the institute, who are all experts in the various agricultural fields. The Institute maintains a minimum number of permanent research staff, and it utilizes a broad range of experts in the institute.

The GAPI also maintains close relationships with major research institutes, both domestic and international, for collective research and co-sponsored seminars and conferences.
And The GAPI has established a wide range of network of distinguished scholars and policy-makers.
